Day 2 - Spinning Sharks and Minions

Another amazing weather day!  We are definitely getting the beach weather treatment!! Jen and Jill had to run to get some different bathing suit bottoms since it seems that we are getting rashes.  Jake is getting them too.  Hopefully it will pass.

While they were gone Ryan and Jordan hit the beach while Jake and I headed to the pier.  We both caught fish.....not really big.....but we caught some.  While there we caught on video a spinner shark.  While video taping Jake, in the background was a spinner shark leaping out of the water!!

We spent the remainder of the afternoon by the pool and on the beach.  I gave an attempt at a sand castle but got started much too late and it was drying out too quickly.  We will try again tomorrow..  That evening we had dinner at Landry's at Broadway at the beach.  Although the seafood is a bit iffy with Jill it was a great meal and our server, Mark, who I thought looked like Nicholas Cage was very good.

Ryan headed over to the Build a Bear where he got a minion created.  I think he plans on using it in one of his classes this fall.  It was a pretty cool process...lotta laughs too.

On our way home we decided to drive up the 'Grand Strand' and it was packed with people.  Bright lights and crowds of people give Myrtle Beach a whole different feel. When we got back everyone was tired except Jake.  We decided to take a walk on the beach with our flashlights.  We saw alot of fish and crabs.  Could not catch any....they were too quick!!!
