Day 1 - Surf and Five Pounds of Rice

Waking at the beach is one of the most relaxing things.  As the sun began to rise over the ocean you can see it was going to be a great weather day.  I hit my usual routine at the gym and then when I got back, I made a select beverage and flashlight run for beach walking.

The day was spent on the beach under our umbrella.  The waves and water were fantastic!!!  We also found a new mascot tucked away in the cabinet.  Jill wants to name her Piggy Sue.  LOL.  In any case, we did alot of diving along the shoreline where we simply float along looking for sea creatures and shells.  This is one of those things that you can only do at the beach.  We did get our hands on some large crabs but they didn't want to be caught!

For dinner we went to the hibachi restaurant, Myabi, where they gave us sooooo much rice!  Jordan got the extra scoop!!!  Dinner was fun with a few new jokes from our cook and we were all ready to move along into the evening.

There was a new Hollywood Wax Museum that Jill and I went to while the rest of the gang headed to Broadway at the Beach to tour around.

Everyone popped in and out of several stores.  Jordan had her eye on a special hat...hmmm.  We then walked into the parking lot to find the van.  The lot was FILLED!

The evening didn't end yet.  Ryan treated us all to ice cream at Kirk's!  I, of course, had the best....malted milk shake (LOL!!) and we all had alot of laughs.  As we drove back we began thinking of the next day's events.  Gonna be a great day!!
